What if we did not try?

If we thought it was too hard, would we even attempt to try? Or…would we choose to stay hidden under the covers…

How would NOT trying make you feel?

This aligns with the Gunna mindset that I carried around for so many years.

It was the year 2008; I was in a relationship that I should not have continued to be in. It was not good for me, nor for my children – I am certain of that now.

Where would I be now if I didn’t try to do something about it then?

Something deep inside told me to stop – it may have been a moment, a realisation, a look, or events over time- whatever it was, I realised this had to STOP!

What followed was me, instead of accepting that first glass of wine that would become a few more…I said NO!

Life was turned upside down and inside out. I had to fend for myself and my children… Like I never had to do before.

I had debt…a part-time job…and little food on the table.

Yet, this was the better alternative!😍

A little while later, a close friend said to me, “You look so much younger!”

Well, you can’t argue with that.

I am grateful even for those hard times; they taught me, strengthened me, shaped me, and contributed to the person I am today.💖😍✅

What if we did not try?

❓Ask yourself – is there something that you have not done?

❓❓An even bigger question is – Why not try?🤗🤗
