My Book Launch Speech - Part two

Why Did I Write My Book?

I wrote my book because I wanted to get what happened out there. I wanted people to see my/our story through my eyes – through different eyes and a different perspective.

I have struggled at intervals about whether I should be doing this; I am bringing myself and my family out there. Why, what for? The answer to that question is what has helped me continue. I wanted others to read my story and to find hope in their own lives.

Some things in life should never happen, yet often arise from misguided beliefs, silence, fear, or deeply ingrained ways of thinking. Over time, the effects can ripple far beyond those directly involved, shaping families, relationships, and generations to come. And then those generations are drawn into those harmful ideas and actions, quietly evolving into their own patterns of pain, disconnection and unresolved trauma.😔

Within the pages of my book, I have shared my experiences, my stories that I should not have endured…my greatest hope for my book is that you, too, will see your story within my story. Because we all deserve joy, light and love in our lives. ✅

Having said that, maybe now is the time for you, for us to stop procrastinating and maybe get some inspiration. Allow those walls and blocks to melt away. In a world that often feels heavy, uncertain and overwhelming, bringing moments of joy into our lives becomes an act of healing and hope.

Allow yourself to be true to you, to heal and to forgive…you are so worthy! ✅

Celebrating 💓

Thank you to those beautiful souls who were able to celebrate with us on the day. 🙏
